- Make it a theme party. Go with a luau, fiesta, Cajun (you know you want to), or my favorite: come dressed as your favorite Superbowl Commercial! That one is open to interpretation and can be hilarious. It is fun to watch people “become” the commercial. Just make sure your theme is somehow connected to the Superbowl.
- In view. Make sure the television is large enough for all of your guests to watch it.
- Kid care. Hire a couple of teenagers to watch the kiddos. Each parent chips in toward the fee.
- Food. Serve finger foods. The Superbowl is not the time to try and serve a 7 course meal. Most of your guests will want to pick, eat, and run back to the big screen. Try serving chips and dip, chicken wings, mini sandwiches, mini hot dogs, mini burgers, mini pizzas, meatballs in the shape of footballs and don’t forget to have plenty of ice and cold drinks on hand.
Clean up. Be sure to have plenty of cleaning supplies on hand and move all breakables out of the way. Superbowl parties can get pretty rowdy.
Decor. You could buy theme specific decorations but if you are on a budget opt for the team colors instead. Buying solid plates, cups, napkins, and decor is inexpensive.
For fun. Purchase an inexpensive football and have each guest sign it as they arrive. Also ask them for their predictions on the game. Record each prediction on a piece of paper along with the name of the person it belongs to. At the end of the game the person closet to the actual score wins the signed football!

Sounds delicious.
