Parents Ordered to Vaccinate – news story
How can this be? Are they kidding us?
I know that I am probably opening up a can of worms here but I have to admit that I want to know every angle of this because I am completely on the fence about it. My children are up to date on their vaccinations with the exception of Carsten because he can’t get all of the shots due to his condition. However, after everything I have learned, I can’t honestly say that I would have vaccinations given to any future children. I just don’t know at this point.
I have read a great deal about all of this and even personally know of some children who have had severe adverse reactions due to immunizations. They include: seizures, high fevers, the child goes into shock and one even contracted the disease he was being vaccinated for. Don’t get me started on the rota virus vaccination. I never again want to watch a mother have to bury her child because of vaccinations. I just don’t trust the government with my kids health.
And what about antibiotics? They don’t work correctly either. My son had the rota virus and RSV back to back. By the end of the RSV he had been on antibiotics four times. He became even more sick than he was with the two illnesses and the doc couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him. They ran every test they could think of including a spinal tap. He finally became so sick that he was hospitalized yet a third time. A young specialist, a new doctor evaluated him and reviewed the tests and blood work and determined that he had been over medicated. The antibiotics had been mutated by the bad antibodies and they were now attacking Maxon’s body. After they began treatment, six days later he was released from the hospital. He was as healthy as can be and hasn’t had a problem since. I no longer give them antibiotics unless it is deemed necessary. I refuse to give antibiotics just to boost their immune system. I prefer taking precautionary measures.
And how can they put parents in jail for not vaccinating? It makes no sense. If these vaccinations do work then who are the unvaccinated kids going to infect (if they get it) but each other? Shouldn’t it be up to the parent to decide how to best care for the life of their child? AND… if there are all these unvaccinated kids running around then where are the ones that have contracted the diseases? The numbers don’t reflect it.
The kicker… How is it that a country that allows abortions as “free choice” would take away a parent’s right to decide what is best for the greater life of their child when it comes to immunizations? Btw.. I despise and do not agree with abortion. This country is so backwards at times.

They don’t always work is the thing. Being unvaccinated, my children could get one of these rare diseases and a vaccinated child can still contract it! Just because a child is vaccinated doesn’t mean that they recieved immunity or that they still have an immunity. For example all pregnant women are tested for rubella immunity and many test negative. If people knew that, the risks of a jab might outweigh the benefits.
Accckkk! Tell me what you know about the rotavirus vaccine!! My baby got that vaccine at 2 months and they didn’t even tell me they were giving it. I found out on my ‘print out’ once I checked out. I cancelled his 4 month check up. I think I want to find a different doctor!
And, I completely agree with you about the ‘forced vaccine’ issue. All five of my older children were vaccinated and I never even thought to question whether or not they were safe. Now that my sixth baby is here, I’ve been doing some research and it has been very eye opening, to say the least!

There is a group on yahoo Im on called vaccineinfo, She is a RN and gives you a lott of information. I personally do not vaccinate my kids. My oldest son has brain damage from a reaction to a DPT shot, and my others had reactions, Please read A Shot in the Dark- you can get it from your library. You wouldnt believe what these immunizations have in them, read up on it for yourself. I will go to jail before I vaccinate my children and Im praying it wont get to that in this country?

BTW, even though all states have some form of legal vax exemption, they can be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to obtain. I live in WV, which is the only state besides Miss. to have only a medical exemption, not a religious or philosophical exemption. We know of a family who found a qualified dr to sign the medical exemption, but the health department simply refuses to sign off on it, stating that no dr can know that any vax could cause a problem for a child.
This forces non-vax families to either homeschool, or submit to the chemical cocktails.
I am with ya! My oldest daughter is an anchondroplastic dwarf and deaf. Being my first child, she was the guinea pig. One day she came down with a wierd lump in her throat. I rushed her to the doctor only to learn that the amount of antibiotics she had been on made her vaccines void. My doc thought she had Mumps. We found out she just had a wierd reaction to Strep Throat, but what the doc said stuck in my head. Because she was a dwarf that wore hearing aids all the time, she had chronic ear infections. After she got over strep throat we didn’t put her back on antibiotics. She has had one ear infection since then (almost 5 years ago). I stopped giving my kids their vaccines and medicine and they havn’t been sick in years. We now eat whole foods and use homeopathic methods. I wouldn’t know what to do if my kids got sick agan. LOL
I completely agree with you Amy. I am so glad to find others who think that it’s not right for the government to tell us what to do. I think slowly but surely if we don’t speak up and do something this country might become communist when that was never the original intention. It is a government for the people by the people. The parents probably should have protested. But some people are so passive about what really matters these days that if they are not alert and paying attention– it will all past us by and then we’ll be scratching our heads and wondering how did we end up here?
The abortion thing as got to go I am so annoyed about that.
It really is scary how many things the govt control these days. We have to really be careful and make sure that we speak up when the time is right on these issues. I don’t even know what to say! We’re on the fence too..and 2 out of 3 of our kids are up to date on immunizations. Makes me feel like I need to rush out and get the other one caught up too….good grief
They said in the article that you could get a medical or religious exemption. That would be okay, but really, why were they doing this at this point in time?
What really offended me in this article was this…

You can bet that they wouldn’t have been able to say that about any other activity! What kind of world are we living in when we have to equate church going with getting shot? I find that sad, personally.
This is scary. I work with a boy who has austism, and his mom is constantly telling me to not vaccinate my children.
I do not agree with abortion, and you’re so right – how can the government include abortion as a free choice, but won’t let you choose to vaccinate your children?
