We used to live in a small town about 45 minutes away from the nearest Home Depot so when we moved to the city I was so excited that we would be able to attend the workshops at Home Depot. In fact, we now live about 5 minutes from one!
The boys love building things and showing off their creations. This is one of our favorite “regular” field trips”. To find one near you go to Home Depot. The best part: it’s free!

How cool!!!
Our Home Depot has some of those as well, but we’ve never tried any of them. Sounds like FUN!
Amy we have Lowes in our area and they have those wonderful little workshops too. We love em.
Got your message about hosting the Traveling Friend, I will be sure to send you the information via Email. I am glad to hear you will be joining us.

Thank you, you honor me!

My kids love Home Depot. We started going this year and they are bummed if we miss a month. I have a couple of posts about it on my blog and photos of all of the projects we completed. I wonder what we’ll be making next month.
I forgot all about those! AND…we just moved to the city. I will check it out!
I’m sure your girls would love it! And yes, it’s FREE!

Thanks for the reminder Amy. I keep wanting to go to one of these. I think my girls would be right into this. Is there a cost?
