IPOP31 Bible Study Session One

In session one we discussed our way of fulfilling the scriptures or Proverbs 31 and God’s way of Christ fulfilling Proverbs 31. We are to look to and follow Christ. It all goes back to Him.

I’d love for you to leave me a comment about your studies, thoughts, revelations or prayer requests regarding this study. Or, you can post about it on your blog and leave me a link.

I look forward to continuing this study with you!

Amy, thank you for the Bible Study. You definitely made me see a different approach to Proverbs 31! You mentioned you’ve prayed for your sons future wife. I did the same, but just that God would prepare her for my son, no specifics as you prayed. My son is a youth pastor and music director now in Indiana and married to a wonderful Christian lady! AMEN. I look forward to the remaining studies!

This is a great study, Amy, and I am so thankful, for more than one reason, that God has lead you to do this. You are really getting us to thinking and that is always a good thing.

My post is up. You are doing a great job Amy.

  17. Amy, I don’t know if i’ll get to come sit down and do this study (posting it anyway) today, but I did just get to read through what you wrote and I’m ringing with Amens!!!

The Lord awoke me to these same truths. Not when I was being “a good Proverbs 31 wife” but when I was in the midst of a divorce. He revealed to me then that it’s not about how much I do, it’s about who I am in Him. From that place, that new birth, comes out the Proverbs 31 woman he created me to be in Him!

Praise God for what You’re writing and studying here! I pray it will awaken and free many a woman bound up in legalistic thinking and oppression.

    Bless you
    sheila
