Yes, everyone in the house ended up with strep throat and/or the flu last week. I think Ryan had it the worst. I got it last and am still recovering. A shot in the hip and three days worth of antibiotics later my throat is still really sore but at least it doesn’t hurt when I talk now. It was a rough week to say the least but, today we all feel well enough to head out to New Orleans for a bit. My sweet husband has been planning this for weeks. In fact, the boys will be spending the night with their dad and Ryan and I will have a bit of time to ourselves. It is much needed. I can’t wait!
