(((Amy))) So what has the eye doctor planned for your son's vision? Gina just recently went for her check up and her vision is getting worse. I'm so sad for her. She has the most amazing eyes and her glasses hide them. :/ It will be so nice when she can get contacts. She struggled in school before we realized her visions was failing her too.

I've had those, "I've ruined them!" panic moments as well! lol Right now I'm trying to figure out what my high needs 8 year old REALLY needs to learn and not be so concerned with what everyone else thinks she needs to learn.

It was fun peeking into another mom's homeschooling plans for the year! Thanks! :)
~Amy

I love how we really can't screw up our kids, even though we spend half their life thinking we will.
I have 2 kids with dyslexia and they did really well with Sequential Spelling.
We are pretty eclectic, but my biggest change this year will be using Ambleside Online for Literature, Bible & History. Love the thought of my teens reading Desiring God by John Piper. Wish I would have thought of that.

Sounds great! Curious on HOW you plan on using LOF and TT, at the same time? Strange to me.

Thanks for the link to Analytical Grammar. We're using R&S; English; I like it a lot but my son does not. I'll check this out.

Can you share more about the workbox system? I searched your blog and couldn't find any posts about it.

Good one, Amy. I too workout the math the same way you are doing. Its mental arithmetic...But, do you know if someone weak in mathematics, they are good in creative skills...so appreciate him.
