Prevent Your Background From Scrolling

To prevent your background from scrolling up with you blog posts simply alter/add some simple code to your template. Here’s how:

1. Log into Blogger
2. From your Dashboard, click “Layout”
3. Click “Edit Html”
4. Scroll down until you find your background’s code. It will look similar to this:

body {background:url("http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r278/splitdecisionz/darrell%20veencamp/b44921ab.png")repeat;margin:0;color:#ffffff;font:x-small Georgia Serif;font-size/* */:/**/small;font-size: /**/small;text-align: center;background-color:#bcd7f5;}

5. Add the following code after the code in blue (above) so that it now looks like this:

body {background:url("http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r278/splitdecisionz/darrell%20veencamp/b44921ab.png")repeat;background-attachment: fixed;margin:0;color:#ffffff;font:x-small Georgia Serif;font-size/* */:/**/small;font-size: /**/small;text-align: center;background-color:#bcd7f5;}

6. Save!

You can make these same changes on WordPress or other platforms just by looking for the similar lines of code.
