Before I left for She Speaks I was mad because I’d gained seven pounds and on top of that I was sick to my stomach. I was a ball of nerves… or so I thought. It turns out that I’m a bit more positive than I used to be.
After nearly a year of trying, miscarriages, and even being told we’d have to I’d have to have surgery and be on fertility pills before I could get pregnant… God steps in. And the reality is that this is probably the one time frame that neither of us would have chosen because this is the one time we know that we have to depend on God for everything. But, I guess God knew that too!
I’m just glad that I am so over having to have all the “stuff” that you see in the baby dept. Just give me some diapers and onesies and we’ll be fine. I would love one of those baby slings though… hey anybody want some advertising in exchange for a great baby sling? I’ve got a spot in the top right hand corner with your baby sling businesses name on it!

I've got a baby sling you can have. I hardly used it so it's like brand new. We have a DVD that goes along with it somewhere. I can try to find it if you want it. Let me know if you'd like to have the sling. It's just sitting in the closet not being used. Just send me an email at
