Because we need fun stuff to do…

I was over at She Reads and saw a post that gave me a great idea…

The post says, “Whenever I visit someone’s home (or office), I always peek at their bookshelf. You can tell a lot about a person by the type of books they read.”

I thought it would be fun for me to post some of the books that I am currently reading and see what you can decipher from them and leave a comment stating what “type of person” you think I am because of those books.

Let’s make it fun! The more witty and hilarious the better. If you want to play and have me -and others- decipher you too then leave me the link in the comments.

So here is what I am reading:

Now, what in the world does that say about me?

Oh, you just have to ask these hard questions, don't you?! LOL…

I tried… really I did.. but I'm not so witty and my post got the delete cursor about halfway through :-)

So, anyway, what is Dinotopia about? It looks very interesting!!

And, I have a slow cooker chicken cacciatore recipe on my blog if you'd like to try it out, being that one of your books is Italian cooking and all: http://www.mikeandsallie.com/sallie/index.blog/1388168/easy-crock-pot-chicken-cacciatore/

Have a blessed weekend!!

Dinotopia is a very interesting book. The kids and I checked it out at the library a year or two ago. We all really enjoyed it.

I can't think of anything really "witty" either. I'll say that the books all pretty much make sense…baby name book–pregnant, Christian books about serving, being a mom, improving your marriage–all what I would expect, I belive I've seen pics of your doggy–so that doesn't surprise me, and the Italian cookbook–well you must have good taste…mmm, yummy, makes me hungry! Well, it is actually the end of our lunch break & I haven't eaten…so that's not too surprising.

I like Gary Chapman's books. His book 'Love as a Way of Life' is amazing.

Nothing witty. I see by the majority of these books you are wanting to be the best wife, mom, and person you can be. That it what it see. The other books are just fun fluff. We can't read only "self help" type books all the time. What fun is that?

BTW, I haven't come by in a few weeks. LOVE the new preggo header!! You do such a great job with your blog design.

I've got a pretty diverse stack of books next to my bed, right now. LOL!

You are married, trying to be a better wife, pregnant, figuring out a name for your baby. Wanting to be an awesome cook, loving Jesus, seeking Him, going for the Impossible, living a life of faith…. thinking about getting a dog??? LOL

Wow…am I on right track at all???

you got to see the books I got on my bookshelf!!! hahahahhaa

That is fun! I asked people to list their books a few weeks ago. It was fun to see what people are reading!
