There is nothing like a dysfunctional Christmas…

{dysfunctional} because no family is perfect – and I for one am quite happy that it turns out that way!

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

The following picture sums up what I realized about this holiday season. Jesus and family are such a great gift, undeserved really but that is what makes them such an awesome gift. Here I am, all unperfect, not feeling well, no make-up or brushed hair for that matter, yet… someone still loves us so much that they are willing to give something that means so much. Thank you Father for the gift of your son. Thank you Ryan, Carsten, Maxon, Andrew, Baby Bayliss, Darin, Andrea, Gabriela, Grant, Mom, Dad, Mawmaw, Ryan, Tori, Mom Drewda, and Sam for an amazing holiday. You all are the true reflection of Christ’s expression of love: imperfections and all.

I hope your holidays were as wonderful as ours.

  1. Love the pictures!

May your New year have many blessings!

  2. Love all the photos, but especially love the one where you can see your belly! Ah! Someone near me needs to have a baby!!

  3. Beautiful! And look at all of that amazing food!

  4. Awwww! Merry Christmas Amy-boo!

What great gifts they received and what great gifts they all are!

  5. Oh Amy, what precious photos! You are so real and transparent and …I love that. We all have a bit of dysfunction in our families, this side of eternity.

    Happy New Year!

  6. Fabulous pictures! Boys look so big! DId you get a camera fixed or lens? 🙂
