Moby Wrap Baby Product Review

A while back when I posted on my blog about how Matthias is only calm when he is being held, in my comments, someone told me about the Moby Wrap. Now I had never heard of it before. I had not had a baby in nearly 10 years prior to Matthias’s birth. When I bought baby shower gifts I was still bringing a Boppy Pillow. I had no idea it was no longer the “it” product.

I still love my Boppy.

But, when I heard about this Moby Wrap I had to email them and request one for review. They were quick to respond and a pleasure to work with. I picked out this sleek little blue one here. Can I tell you that I feel like Ms. Modern Mom when I wear it in the grocery store? I get asked about it so many times. It seriously makes me feel good. What is even better is that my hands are free, there is no stress being put on my back and shoulders, and I have my little bebe right where he should be. Not to mention that I can wear it in any number of different ways. My favorites are the Kanagaroo Hold and the Wrapping Folded.

The number one reason I like it is this: I know my baby is secure.

…okay and it is stylish but more importantly Matthias is secure.

I like it so much I bought a second one. Yes, with my own money I went out and bought another one. I wanted one that Ryan would be okay wearing (less chic and modern – more dad kind of cool) and besides, I needed a second one for the time the other was in the laundry.

I really like the brown one but for Ryan’s sake I wish I would have gotten the black.

I have some slings and some baby carriers and I will tell you that I reach for the Moby every time now. Nothing else compares. This thing rocks. Ask any mom who has one.

I have added the Moby Wrap to my Open Sky store, la Femme Cadien Shoppe and I ask that if you do decide to buy one for yourself or as a gift for someone else would you consider purchasing it through me? I only make a small amount from the sales but every bit of it will be going towards getting Carsten back to the LPA conference next year.And at $40 it is much cheaper than those other fancy slings.

My opinion: The Moby Wrap is one of the most versatile, stylish, economical, and secure baby products on the market today.
