In the spirit of book reviews and “book club” small groups that meet online, today I am keeping it simple and offering printables of bookmarks and labels.
I’m a bit of a book hoarder myself. I have hundreds of them. I am always reading 4-5 at a time. I keep one by the bed, one by the sofa, one in my purse and one in the bathroom so that I can read while soaking in a tub full of bubbles. Unfortunately, a couple of times I have left a book behind at a doctor’s office or other location. And although I usually have no problem recovering my prized possession once I did have someone claim a book as their own. I found out when I returned to the doctor’s office.
These labels are handy for situations like that and also good to use if you loan out lots of books. The bookmarks are just handy.
BONUS: If you ever do decide to donate your books to a library or other organization, you can always make new labels that say, “Donated to Organization Name by Family Name” then place that label directly over the other one. It works like a charm!
All printables are in .doc files and can be edited using Microsoft Word or the free open source software called Open Office. To customize them you only need to find the text box, type in the text you want, change the font to how you want it and save. After you customize them to suit your needs print the labels out on a mailing label sheet and print the bookmarks out on cardstock. You can laminate the bookmarks for added stability.
Many more printables to come! Subscribe by RSS reader so you don’t miss any!
