sun brewed tea in mason jar

By: Small Town Simplicity

I grew up wondering why in the world my Nanny (that is what we call a special aunt) would leave her tea outside all day long. I always thought she’d forgotten about it. I used to be scared that it would go bad and I did not want that. I loved Nanny’s tea. As I got older I realized that the sun was brewing the tea and that was part of the reason it tasted so good! You can view the instructions here: Recipe for Sun Brewed Tea in Mason Jar.

You know I love lemonade. I have two of my own recipes here: Southern Cherry Lemonade Recipe and Italian Basil Lemonade. I also found this delish lemony goodness while searching for drinks in Mason Jars. Here is the recipe for it: Strawberry Basil Lemonade.

It’s crazy but I could not find one single eggnog recipe similar to mine. I didn’t want to take a chance and list one that wasn’t good. So, I guess I’ll be posting mine in a week or so. 🙂

For the next 10 days I will be posting about various ways to use Mason Jars to make the holidays more festive, frugal, and meaningful. Join me and the following bloggers as we take you through “10 Days of”. [sponsored by Heart of the Matter Online]
