I'm Amy Bayliss. I'm Cajun: born and raised just south of Baton Rouge, LA. I'm passionate about family, heritage, home, and my Lord, Jesus Christ. I've been called a pioneer in women's online ministry and an architect of ideas: I like that. It glorifies my Father. Here I share those ideas and the thoughts and creativity inspired by my walk with Him. I'm married to my best friend, Ryan, and we have four boys. It takes some pretty creative engineering to keep our home and family prospering but we figure it out and I'm happy to share some of our life with you all!

Thanks so much for all these homemade cleaners! I have been so inspired that I’m telling all my friends about your site. I’ve pinned a number of your recipes so others can find you too! I love the way my house smells and the fact that my 2 yr old son got ahold of the spray bottle with the all purpose cleaner in it, and I didn’t have to have a heart attack thinking he could have hurt himself or bleached something.
(He only sprayed the floor… Speaking of floors, I’ve also found out that that same all purpose cleaner is GREAT on small carpet messes! We have cats (and their furballs) and the same 2 yr old who is trying to potty train himself. I’m sure you can imagine those messes. The only problem is that I’m finding after I clean one of those spots with your cleaner, it’s cleaner than the rest of the carpet. :} I’ll be cleaning my carpets soon! Do you have an all natural large area carpet cleaner recipe?

And yes, girl! I use the All Purpose for spot cleaning my carpet too. I don’t have anything that does the entire carpet. I never really thought about it. I’ll look into it though. I’m so glad you are enjoying the recipes. And it doesn’t it make you feel so good knowing that your house is safe AND really clean? I love it!
