Ok, love this too. The polish I use now smells like cinnamon and I love it. I bet you could use cinnamon or clove essential oil as a substitute for lemon!

Ok, need to try this one too! We are moving into our new house over the next week. Perhaps I will make this rather than buy all new soap! Do you usually reuse your containers or have you found reasonably priced (and cute) dispensers?

No I haven’t tried that, but it will be on my list once we run out of our Christmas sale stash. I”m not sure if I hate throwing things away or using things I don’t like more! I’ll have to remember to save all of my bottles too!

Hi Amy, when I made the all purpose spray cleaner, the vinegar reacted w/the dry ingredients much like it does w/baking soda. After it stopped fizzing, some solid-type particles remained in the cleaning solution. Is this normal? I love the way the cleaner works, and so far it hasn’t clogged my spray bottle. I am going to use the all purpose cleaner for these wipes…love the idea of my boys using the wipes to clean up after themselves! Thanks for all of these natural cleaning recipes and ideas ! Julie

I use one for a body wash that I am certain would work for your hands too. I grind oatmeal and sugar in my food processor and add it to the soap. It works great for scrubbing but won’t go into a foaming pump. I use a pump I got from Target. It has an oversized pump and tube in it so I am guessing that is why it doesn’t get clogged. Maybe you can reuse the pump that you got from the body shop? Have you tried that?

I just like Eucalyptus for it’s antibacterial properties and it really blends well with almost any scent I add to it but you can use whatever castile you choose. It does not have to be that one.

I don’t have one yet but I can certainly write one! I just use birds eye cloth. Wash it beforehand then iron it out and cut them into squares. Then surge the ends or fold the edges over and stitch. Either way works. I love these!!! And they are so affordable when you make them yourself. There are also many etsy sellers that sell them.
